Kalodiki, Athanasia, Writing Studio Coordinator

Ms. Nancy Kalodiki is an experienced English and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) educator, IBDP Examiner, and Individual Oral Team Leader with a career in education since 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Lancaster in the UK, a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature from UCL, and an equivalency from the Department of English Language and Philology at the University of Athens. She is well-versed in bilingual and multilingual educational environments and her teaching experience spans the IBDP, IB MYP, IGCSE, and British National Curriculum, with posts in Greece, Switzerland, the Netherlands. As part of her work with the IBO, she has also contributed to assessment research, including a trial on Adaptive Comparative Judgement for HL English and a qualitative study on examiner interpretation of assessment criteria.

Ms. Kalodiki has served as an IBDP pastoral and academic advisor, as well as a Form Teacher for younger students bringing a strong pastoral care ethos to her work. A dedicated advocate of student-centered, differentiated, and experiential learning, she has assisted the coordination of CAS programmes and led various co-curricular initiatives including debate, creative writing, and outdoor education. Passionate about writing, she has authored a novel and actively promotes creative expression among students.

Currently, she serves as the Writing Studio Coordinator where she supports students with research assignments, academic writing, and university application essays. With expertise in curriculum design, teacher mentoring, and educational consulting, she is committed to fostering intercultural understanding, ethical awareness, and inclusive learning environments. 

Her work reflects a lifelong belief in education as a tool for empowerment and transformation.
